A unique, one of a kind offering for any member of the DAR from the great state of Virginia. This is a one of a kind offering seen only 2 times in the past 5 years. This sizeable state pin produced by JE Caldwell and is marked Gold Filled. This is a MUST HAVE pin for your sash particularly if you are a Virginia DAR member. The VIRGINIA engraved bar measures 1 1/4" long and 3/16" wide and features a secure locking pin back which is fully functional. ...It is attached to a DAR medallion measuring 1 1/8" across and marked JE CALDWELL GOLD FILLED on the back. JE Caldwell was a Philadelphia PA jeweler established in 1839 and for many years was one of the few companies commissioned by the Daughters of the American Revolution to produce commemorative pins for the organization. They have since closed their doors. These pins are now commissioned by Hamilton Insignia, one of the only remaining companies authorized to produce DAR pins.
