For sale is an early silver Lange & Sons lepine pocket watch manufactured in 1886. The original high quality ALS movement rests in its original watch case with matching serial numbers (please note that only the number 2 is stamped in the case as this is a very early Lange & Sons watch). The case is called Jürgens and comes with a pure goldwinding and pure gold hinges. Back in the 19th century this was ...among the best watches you could buy on the market and even runs today with only a few minutes real-time difference per week.
The authenticity of the watch is confirmed by a certificate issued by the Deutsche Uhrenmuseum in Glashütte from February 2019. The watch underwent a full service (costs: EUR 560) by a professional watchmaker in August 2018 who is recommended by the Deutsche Uhrenmuseum. The watch runs perfectly since then.
