It is octagonal in shape and has the most beautifulengraved stylised incised design on the case sides. The case has some lovely Guillocheenamel work to the case back which shows some wear to the enamel, but it doesnot detract from the beauty of this watch. The bezel is gold and shows nodamage that I can see. The case back is in excellent condition with just lightwear. All of the covers snap to VERY well and are nice and tight. I have gentlypolished the case, and it is shining wonderfully, as only hi grade SOLID GOLDcan. The dust cover is in good condition with some age related wear and is madefrom GILT METAL. THE WATCH MEASURES 3.1CMS (31MM) ACROSS EXCLUDING THE CROWNAND CHAINRING. The hinges show no signs of abuse. The inside of the back coveris fully marked for solid 18k gold. DIAL:This lovely collectible watchhas a STUNNING original snow white/gold enameled tone dial. It is unsigned, andis showing NO damage or hairlines. It has a beautiful GOLD & SILVER enameloutside track with ruby enamel highlights and a lovely Insect design centre. Ithas beautiful sharp and crisp RARE ARABIC RED painted numerals. Everything iscrisp and clear with no apparent numeral wear. The crystal is glass and may bethe original. As such it shows light wear. The beautiful antique matching'Spade' style watch hands are golden steel and are in excellent condition.MOVEMENT:This is a lovely Swissmade unsigned crown wind and pin set cylinder movement which was typical ofthe movements at this time. It has mintysteel screws. The watch winds and sets as it should. The crown is gold in colorand is good condition. This beautiful watch ONLY RUNS WHEN THE DIAL IS FACING DOWN AND ASSUCH IS BEEN SOLD FOR SPARES/REPAIRS ONLY WITH NO RETURNS.
