Antique Chinese Cloisonne Bowl - Chrysanthemum W/Turquoise Inlay - Bronze/Brass

Hello & Welcome, Here's a lovely, old Chinese cloisonne bowl, circa mid-1800's, that's in great condition. This bowl has blue enamel base, a scalloped rim and features Chrysanthemum's on the interior & exterior. The different colored enameling is truly gorgeous and it also has turquoise inlay. The enameling is absolutely beautiful, which I hope my photo's show fairly. I'm not certain what the base metal is but I believe it's either bronze or brass. &nbs...p;I was lucky enough to receive it from an 87 y/o lady that said she remembered her Grandmother always having hard tack candy in it when she was a child. Upon her Grandmother's passing, her Mother received it and willed it to her upon her passing. And, since both her children have since passed I've came to be friends with her, helping her do things she's no longer able to do herself. One day, knowing how much I liked it, she gave it to me after doing some work for her. Anyhow, the bowl measures approximately 6" wide by 2" high, and it's quite heavy too, weighing almost 1 lb. I've taken as many photo's as allowed, and with a couple different backgrounds, to allow everyone to see how truly nice this piece is. This piece would make a wonderful gift, even for yourself, and would make a fine addition to several types of collections.
