Completely restored and ready to go back to work. Awesome vintage cast brass or bronze example. This would be a great addition for anyone wanting an original, 100% functional antique for their garden or house. The Specialty Mfg Co of St Paul, Minn has been in business since 1900 and, based on some advertising, sold around these around 1920. The idea was to have a hose reel you could move around to where it was needed, or just hook up your standard garden hose ri...ght to it. They sold these separately. This has been completely refurbished. The valve seat inside was re-seated with a valve seat face cutter. The washer is brand new. The screw has silicone grease for smooth operation. The handle is not original but matches in size and color perfectly. The handle's socket was drilled, broached, and then custom-fit to this faucet's stem so there should be no wiggle or play in the stem-to-handle fit. The house side is 3/4" NPT which is standard on modern houses. The hose side is the standard garden hose thread.Should be ready for the next 100 years.Any questions, please ask.
