They were extremely difficult to find in stores. As soon as a store received new booster packs, they were usually sold out in a few days. I wish I would have bought more and kept the boxes sealed. They would have been priceless!  A gold mine. If I could go back in time, I would have been ready to buy the 1st edition packs. I guess I should be thankful I saved anything from that time.Thanks for letting me go down memory lane and remembering how much fun that time was. I have older sons in their late 20s and early 30s that have fond Pokemon memories.
