Lionel 6-8-6 671 Turbine Repainted toNorfolk & Western 2173 TESTED & RUNNING!This is a nice used 6-8-6 turbine locomotive and tenderfrom Lionel. It probably started life as a 671, but has been nicely repaintedand decaled to Norfolk & Western livery with a cab number of 2173.It runs fine in both directions; the light is working(LED bulb); and the smoke unit also works. It would like a drop of oil since it’sbeen sitting, but that’s about it.It’s nice cosmetically. The g...raphics and lettering arenice and vibrant, and crisp and clean. The repaint has been done well also.There isn’t an ID number on the underside of the plastic tenderlike a lot of them have. It’s non-whistle and in good condition.This loco was repainted by the original owner to matchand pull a 4 car MTH Norfolk & Western illuminated passenger set that’s upin another auction this week. By the way, I’m happy to combine shipping shouldyou win both auctions. Yes, that’s a blatant sales plug J… I won’t attempt to use the grading scale because I’m notan expert.
