Original Description:
You are viewing an early pottery nodding figurine from Japan. Signed to the base and inside lid his large basket doubles as a pot.
The beautifully made head nods freely as he sits.

Height - 8cm
Length - 11cm
Width - 4.5cm

Please study my photographs to understand the condition. There is a small loss to the right foot (chipped toes) and crack vertically down his neck (only visible when head removed). Also a small knock to his right elbow.
He is very dirty but I... have left it untouched.
