From a high-end Massachusetts estate. Chinese Export porcelain dinner plate 10 1/4". Diapered edge and lots of gilt on this piece. There is some gilt loss along the rim due to handling. It doesn't show up in the pics but you can see the handmade potter's wheel marks on the base. No chips or repairs.
In pic #8 you'll see what looks like a hairline crack. I looked at it closely with a jeweler's loop and I believe it's a stain, not a hairline cr...ack. And there is no evidence of a crack on the other side either.
