1905 - Theodore Roosevelt 2nd Term Inauguration 3" Bronze Medal – MORGAN & BARBER Designed Here is a beau...tiful official US Mint Medallion, designed by the two top mint engravers at the time Charles Barber and George Morgan, of the famous Morgan Silver Dollar Fame. Medal measures 76mm (3") in diameter, and appears to be the original attractive patina. Albet with some areas of verdigris and wear. See pics. The obverse shows a bust of Teddy facing left, with his name around the perimeter: THEODORE ROOSEVELT, Signed by BARBER at lower right. The reverse shows Young Lady Liberty in flowing armless gown, with scroll in hand and right arm resting on column with vase and image of Faces, (A sign of unity and strength) The US Capital Building at the top and below in large lettering reads:INAUGURATED / PRESIDENT / OF THE / UNITED STATES / SEP. 14, 1901 / SECOND TERM / MARCH 4, / 1905, Signed at bottom MORGAN. A very attractive and large bronze medallion issued for a very popular President, leaving a legacy we all still enjoy today. See pics and add to your collection today.
