I'm proud to present to you my latest carving
"Hard Wired"
A true one of a kind with over 100 hours invested in this project, everything has been custom made for this build, with parts and materials sourced out from across North America. No detail has been overlooked. All fabrication has been done in my studio with hand tools, right down to the hollowing out of the base of the dome to conceal the electronics
Completely hand carved, my work does not in...clude any computer aided designs or carving, it is all done by hand under a microscope. I only use push gravers, homemade gravers, and a high speed micromotor with micro burrs on my carvings. Pneumatics are not used for carving on my work, only for stippling or peening of selected areas.
Created from two silver coins, the host coins are 1922 and 1925 Silver Peace dollars and feature 2 rubies, 2 Sapphires, a Black Spinel, numerous watch parts, watch jewels, gears, electronic parts, and 3 blue micro LED lights with a hidden tactile switch in the base. The electronics have been designed and assembled with a custom made copper cover to allow easy switching of the internal watch battery that lights the LED's.
Guaranteed one of a kind, it will be the only one like it ever to be made. It will ship to the highest bidder as pictured, with the complete artist package consisting of a signed COA with official Wolosiewicz Art wax seal, an autographed artist bio, and a signed personal write up of the creation of this carving as well as the glass display dome as pictured.
