This is a ready to run model of an HO scale 40' steel box car lettered for the Atchison Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad in the brown and black "Route of the Texas Chief" paint scheme. The other side of the car has the "Ship and Travel Santa Fe all the Way" slogan as can be seen in the second picture. This car as made by Branchline Trains in their line of premium HO freight cars, and it is now out of production. These great cars feature separate ladders, grab irons, steps, and un...derframe details. Car number is 138373 and build date is 3-37 and car has end numbers. Car is in excellent condition with no broken steps, and has plastic Bettendorf trucks, and Kadee knuckle couplers. Pictures show both sides of the car.
