Original Description:
This is one of the rarest members of the famous Hubley Kennels (Hubley Manufacturing Company of Lancaster Pennsylvania, founded 1894) to add too any collection.  This full figure standing Boxer was introduced into the Hubley Art Line in the 1930's.  This doorstop in this condition is infrequently seen and rarely offered for purchase.  The casting by Hubley is a "work of art" - an exceptional amount and degree of detail along with exceptional handpainted detailing.  ...Original paint that is well-preserved with a wonderful patina, vivid and bright colors.  There is no re-paint, ALL ORIGINAL, no damage, cracks or repairs.  Some small flea bites and scuffing to original paint along snout, ears, ankles, etc.  Exquisitely cast. Seams line up and are very tight, no gaps. Original flat slot screws holding halves together.  Please refer to photos. 8 3/4" tall excellent+ condition.  This is a prize to add to any serious collectors collection.
