A very attractive, original vintage paint by numbers oil painting. Dates to 1954 and has a great mid century modern feel, with its impressionist style. Title is PORT OF YESTERDAY. Palmer Paint Co, Detroit Michigan, copyright 1954. Hand painted on canvas and mounted on cardboard. Reminds me of Gaugin, with the ramshackle fishing huts, boats and sunset or sunrise, with mountains in the background. Colors are not so yellow as they may lo...ok here, Clean, well preserved, no doors, no fade, no soiling.
