You are bidding on this nice Antique 1940's Small Size Armoire. The armoire is from the 1940's. it is a simple design, and is a smaller size to fit into virtually any size room. It is, unfortunately, a bit beat up. It has a lot of scratches and wear to the finish. It does have a rod inside, but the mounts are loose, and so the rod falls out constantly. This is one item that will need to be repaired. The back is beginning to separate from the sides. This would be an easy fix, by re-nai...ling or gluing. There is a break in the bottom board of the inside, and there are two holes drilled into the back, like someone once used it to store electronics or televisions, although it is a bit small for that. It does have one shelf inside, just above the rod. It has some decorative trim pieces on the outside at the top, but one of them has a piece broken off of the top of it. I am unsure of the origins of the little armoire. It is 61" tall at the top of the door, which does not completely latch closed. This is another thing that will need to be adjusted. The armoire is 59.5" tall, 30.25" wide, and 17.5" deep. It has a lock on the front for an old type key, but there is no key with it. It is a nice little antique armoire, and will some TLC, and restoration, it could be a lovely, functional piece of antique furniture.
