Gem Models by Guild, Pennsylvania Railroad Class M1 Mountain 4-8-2 Locomotive and Tender made in Japan by Katsumi. Model is in good overall shape and has sprung drivers, closed gearbox, universal driveshaft, and partial cab detail with engineer and fireman. Wheels show light wear, custom paint is ok. Paint on Locomotive is in good condition, but tender decals have run onto paint and paint has some damage. It looks like the gold printing on decals dissolved and bled onto paint. Models w...as tested and runs great in both directions. Original box is in good condition and still has original wrappers and mounting boards. I replaced paper wraps with bubble wrap and plastic wraps for better protection.
I will pay close attention to your brass purchase and will ensure your item is packed correctly and arrives safely. Lots of original foam has lost its memory and will not serve its intended purpose. I replace inferior foam, use additional padding, water proof, and wrap with plenty of bubble wrap and air pillows. I use oversized boxes with all seams taped ensuring that you don't receive a box of "parts". I pay special attention to my brass items as many have been cherished for 50-70 years and aren't going to get damaged on my watch!
