rare and obscure USA Live steam Alcohol Fueled 2-4-0 Live steam engine with Box Pok Drivers and 3 old time metal & wood passenger cars. C 1920's from the largely unknown Oscar W. Rohm Engine Works USA no further address given-this is tamped under burner unit and the name plate under the cab says Oscar W. Rohm. A pretty neat very early scale looking item. All tin/pressed steel, it seems to have a throttle and whistle. The cars are all tin/pressed metal with O scale truck...s of their own design. Latch type couplers. Fairly detailed for what it is with a tender and tin coal load. I have made no attempt to run it since it looks like is sat untouched for 75+ years in a local estate. No information on if it was a kit or built ready to run. No track was found with the train when purchased, but it fits Lionel O gauge. This is sold as a collectors item, I would not try to run it unless you have prior experience with early live steam and how it should be maintained/cleaned prior to use. Cars have paper adhering to them & need to be stripped and have a new coat of paint which is dark green and they are unlettered. Sold as is.
