1977 Marvel Comics Stan Lee Signed Convention Appearance Letter - Marvelmania
Item History & Price
Reference Number: Avaluer:2119040 |
Up for auction is a letter by Stan Lee sent to George Henderson, back in 1977. Henderson (Captain George) opened up Canada's first comic book store, back in the 1960's, as well as being both a fanzine publisher and convention organizer. Stan Lee writes that he will accept his invitation to appear at a Whizzbang Convention in his own, witty way. This is personally signed by Stan, not his secretary, and is his quick signature that he would use for inter-office correspondences: Someti...mes using only an "S". It is typed on Cadence stationery and is in Very Fine+ condition. The envelope was displayed and handled more than the actual letter and is in Very Good condition.
