First of all I collect only gauge 1 and as you can see everything is displayed in an enclosed case. I only collect Aster, J & M Models and Golden Age Models. I have no layout therefore I only display my collection. All my locomotives are Aster live steam factory built unfired. Due to the fact that I have run out of room I am reluctantly selling my J & M Models as well as my Aster cars. I plan to collect only Aster live steam locomotives and gauge 1 Golden Age Models. Some o...f my pictures are not clear due to my age. Please keep in mind that both Aster and J & M went into business around 1975 which makes some of their products 45 years old. Whenever I purchased an item, I was very particular in its condition. I tell you all this so you will have an idea of what you are bidding on and I will be glad to answer all questions and provide additional pictures. Some of the highlights of this collection are J & M CIWL cars which were known as the Orient Express. Among them is a blue sleeping car LX #3532A, a bue dining car #3402, a blue sleeping car Type S #2644A, a blue baggage car #1271, a brown & ivory 1 st class parlour car #4018E and a brown & ivory 2 nd class parlour car #4015E. Not only do I have the original boxes for most, but I have the original receipts for some that were sold in 1983. Everything is being sold as is.
