In this auction you are bidding on a New never used, APH-5 flight helmet. It is made by Gentex and is a size large. It has a manufactured date of September, 1968. It’s in excellent shape, The mix boom is still covered in the nos wrapping and comes with 10 pads. The foam inside looks bright white and overall the nicest flight helmet I have found. It does have some slight discoloration of the string on both sides. Also the last picture shows one scuff I found on the outside shell. The ...rest of the paint job looks like it just came fresh off the assembly line. This auction also included a 1967 dated BUWEPS case, carrying bag and a a new clear visor. I bought this from someone who bought it at a yard sale years ago. Since I have owned this item, I have never taken the. Pads out. It has been sitting in the carrying case. It would display super nice and make a great addition to any collection. See pictures for better details.
