Very Old " Edelweiss - Hofbrau 10 Cents " Glass Beer Stein Porcelain Cap

This is an original, old, vintage, and very neat German beer stein. It is quite old and unusual but does have a few condition issues. It is unusual in the fact that it reads "Edelweiss-Hofbrau 10 cents" on the porcelain lid. I have never seen another like it. Unfortunately there's a fine crack going across the porcelain top from one side to the other but it is still strongly in place. Also there is a crack at the very bottom of the handle but again it is held on very firmly and very ha...rd to notice. Just above the crack, there's a small chip. Still an unusual and hard to find stein. It measures 6.5" tall. It opens nicely and has a nice ornate lever for opening. This is a very old stein. I'm not exactly positive but I'd guess 1930s - 1940s era.
