Liquor & Wine Traders New York City A manuscript billingstatement from Thomas Dusenburg, dated from April of 1855 to December of 1856, forseveral months of work. Including line items for: scaling a 5 gallon measure;copper pipe, solder, cocks, days of work..., alcohol condensers, scroll worm, condensing worm, a copper still, copper columns; lengths of lead pipe, vacuumvalves, water cocks, brass crotch, large bibb cocks and more; also denoting areturn of unused solder; the final billing coming to $ 3531.02. The address forthe Thomson firm not listed, however our research indicates that the business hadcommercial properties, including wine & liquor businesses & groceries, in lower Manhattan on Cherry Street and also elsewhere on the island. Approx. 63/4" x 16" size, with ink handwriting, very legible. Some wrinkling, soiling, old fold lines, bottom couple of inches of document split, no loss oftext. In good condition and interesting mid-19th century New York City wine andliquor wholesale business & alcohol distilling history ephemera.
