DESCRIPTION Here is a beautiful hand carved Chinese spinach green nephrite jade elephant sculpture from an estate. Great carved detail with trunk up for good luck! This wo...nderful piece of Nephrite has translucence when held to the light at the trunk, ears, legs. The nephrite was tested and is a quality dense jade and heavy piece weighing approx 189 grams. It comes from an estate with other wonderful antique Chinese items that I have been selling. Excellent condition, no chips or cracks, there are a few white dots that would disappear with wax, I rubbed it after the pictures were taken and they almost disappeared.
