Here is a beautiful vintage model kit by Sterling Models of the Chris Craft Corvette. The kit consists of pre-scored balsa and basswood parts, pewter parts, brass fittings, etc. The model has a few minor pieces done, as shown in picture 3.This is a large model when completed: length- 48", Beam-13 7/8". It is made for remote control or could be a static display model. Sterling Models are known for being high-caliber kits. This model will provide the right craftsman with may hours of enj...oyment and when completed will be an exceptional and rare display. Comes complete with original 'Step-By-Step' instructions and a full size 'blue-print' for ease of assembly. While this is not a weekend assembly the advertisement quotes that it is made for 'ease of assembly.'The model carton is surprisingly heavy - this is a serious model boat.This is in the original box, which has seen better days, which will be wrapped and shipped inside another larger, sturdy box and will be shipped insured.
