Edwards Quadrate #425 Spin rod 7'6" super condition, super rare. Condition is Used however nearly new condition.This rod has never been fished.This is a super custom rod! Eustis Edwards created the Winchester Arms company and in 1919 sold the company and created a new company in New Haven Ct. building Custom Rods under the brand Bristol Rod Co. His sons Eugene and William created the Rod Company E.W. Edwards and Sons and after the death of Eustis in 1931 continued the brand under the B...ristol name. Eventually the brothers split and William created his own company under the EW Edwards and Sons brand and Eugene continued as the Eugene Edwards Company. William developed the 4-strip technology and his brother went on to develop a 6-strip technology. The rod here is a classic and extremely well preserved example of Williams 4-strip technology at it's very best.This rod is not only rare, it is unique and in world class condition. This rod is a must have for any serious collector!The case is original as well. Stickers have essentially dried and fell off the case.
