I am relisting this power plant because two winning bidders did not pay. His loss is your gain !!!This came from the estate of a local nuclear operator in the 1950's. He worked at the first Nuclear Shippingport Atomic Power Plant that was operated by the Navy in my home town located in Beaver County, PA. He bought this for his son as a Christmas present back in the 1950's.This replica of that plant was made by Line Mar of Japan back in 1958.It is all tin and is steam an...d battery operated.The metal base is in excellent condition as seen. The flywheel and piston move freely and are excellent.The atomic plant in excellent condition. Cooling tower excellent and lights up when the turbine wheel is turned by steam generated in the dome boile. The battery box that supplies electricity to light up cooling tower is in good condition and working.To produce steam in the tin boiler fuel pellets are placed in a heating pan and placed under boiler. I poured a beaker of water and the boiler does no leak. Felt under boiler and found no rust or holes. The owner said years ago he had the boiler repaired. Did not heat the water since I had no fuel pellets.Comes with all the original accessories such as; beaker, funnel, empty can of fuel pellets, white water collection tray , and metal fuel pellet pan.Also comes with its original box. Has had repairs as seen.Very rare to find one like this in such great condition with its original box and accessories.NO RESERVE !!!!!!
