This is a vintage Japanese tea pot of Banko ware, which was made by the 1st class potter, Iroku Mori about 30-40 years ago.
He is a famous potter, who won a lot of prizes and was officially recognized as the Japanese Traditional Handcraftman from Japanese Government.
This water pot is very unique. Water is poured from the hole on the bottom. After pouring water, the pot is placed in the right direction (The bottom is on the down side). But water dose NOT spill out from the hole. It's a magic pot.The seal of the potter is stamped on the underside of the spout. The original wooden box with a signature of the potter & his profile are also included.
