Up for sale is a vintage Illinois "Great Northern Special" 21-jewel gold-filled pocket watch. The watch is in great running condition. The watch case shows wear such as scuffs and scratches. The crystal is clean. The watch case measures approximately 49mm wide. The plate diameter on the mechanism measures approximately 40.5mm giving the watch a size of 13s. It is an open face model. Mechanism is marked "21 jewels, Adjusted 3 positions, double roller" and has a serial number that dates ...it to approximately 1920. The inside of the case is also marked "Dueber Exchange". Nice vintage pocket watch in need of a new home!
