DESCRIPTION: Pink Floyd- Dark Side Of The Moon. Early UK press with A5/B5 matrix, Original EMI white inner, "Pyramids" poster and 2 stickers. The 2 original stickers have a plain white backing rather than the "Fasprint" backing to rear. Packed this weighs over 500gm so overseas postage is as for a double. LABEL AND CATALOGUE NUMBER: Harvest SHVL 804: YEAR OF RELEASE: Later 1970s issue of 1973 original: COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG+. Vinyl is clean ...with a decent sheen and some very light hairlines and brushing lines. Played in its entirety tonight on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Very Good overall, side 2 not too far off EX. Music is generally clear, clean, vibrant and loud. It has some ticks and a trace of background sound in the intro to "Breathe" and the piano only parts of "The Great Gig in The Sky". Cover is in nice clean condition, a decent VG+. It is firm and square and has only light edge wear, light corner wear and light creasing. Spine retains good shape and has only light wear. Inside of gate fold is very clean. Poster is VG, no problems with printed side, moderate wear. Rear of poster has an area of some kind of solvent to each corner. Stickers do not have original backs to them and could be used again if you wanted to do that. White EMI inner is close to EX with light wear and no splits. Really clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PINK FLOYD/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE.
