ATTENTION TIFOSI!!! I'm liquidating a large collection of 1:18-scale die-cast models, and I'm clearing out cars from my favorite manufacturer, FERRARI! For years, Mattel/Hot Wheels held the exclusive rights to Ferrari die-cast and was able to produce some pretty high-quality models of some of the most desired automobiles in the world for reasonable prices. I bought ma...ny of them and, while I'm still a huge fan of Ferrari, I am no longer collecting die-cast models. My collection is being sold exclusively here on ebay.
Up for auction is a beautiful Ferrari FXX non-road-legal track car. First introduced in 2005, the FXX was a track-only, developmental prototype edition of Ferrari's existing supercar, the Enzo. Limited to just 30 models, its naturally-aspirated, 789hp V12, coupled with the slick tires, helped propel the car from 0-60 mph in just 2.8 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 214 mph.
This Hot Wheels model is adorned in classic black with white accents and black interior. It has opening hood, doors and trunk, displaying (in plastic) the monstrous 6.3L F140 V12 engine and alcantara interior.
This model was briefly displayed in a showcase before being carefully placed back in its original packaging and stored out of direct sunlight in a smoke-free home. The box shows some significant shelf wear (see photos), but this Ferrari is undamaged, clean and ready to be proudly displayed as part of your collection.
