This is a grille set (service for 12 plus extras) of silverplate flatware in the CORONATION pattern by Oneida Community, which pattern was introduced in 1936. Set comes in a 'Hardin' cloth buffet type holder (cloth covered bottom board and cloth cover). Included in the set are the following pieces: 12 - dessert/oval soup spoons (7 3, 8 inch); 12 - teaspoons (6 1/2 inch); 12 - grille forks (7 1/2 inch with longer handles); 12 - new French hollow grille knives (8 1/2 in...ch); 2 - small solid casserole/berry spoons (8 5/8 inch); 1 - cold meat fork (8 3/8 inch); 1 - sugar spoon (6 inch); 1- jelly server (6 1/8 inch); and 1 - flat handle master butter knife (6 7/8 inch).That's a total of 54 pieces. With the exception of the knives, the pieces are backmarked 'Community Plate'.
