This wonderful antique beaded tassel hangs down with a full length of 5 " (including loop) and is made with clear, icy-white, approx 2mm bugle beads. This was probably made in Czechoslovakia and the tassel dates from the art deco era. The crown of the tassel seems to be have strung on what appears to be cream cardboard. At the very top, the hanging loop comes out of a larger (4mm) faceted bead .... making this lovely piece of handwork, when the art of hand made ...dress adornments were at their zenith in quality and design.
It is unused & in very good condition. This listing is for a pair, & I have 10 pairs available.The tassels are almost 100 years old & are meant for decorative uses only. Anything else is at your own risk. They are not meant to be used on clothing, nor pulled on, yanked or washed & need to be handled with care.
This item is original antique stock from the archives of Tinsel Trading, in NY, which was founded by my grandfather in 1933. I am constantly adding ribbons, trims, tassels, cords, fringes and more, some dating back as far as 1880's.Keep checking back!! I combine shipping
