Beautiful sterling silver Apostle Spoon (two available), made by the Haseler Brothers, Edward John Haseler and Noble Haseler, hallmarked Chester England 1901. Haseler Brothers firm was founded in Birmingham 1848, and at turn of century around the time of the creation of these spoons, formed a partnership with Liberty & Co in London for a line of Art Nouveau style silver wares. These spoons depict one of the most obscure apostles, St. Simon, with his attribute of the saw (symbolizin...g his martyrdom by being sawn in half). Each measures 7 1/4" in length. In good condition.
