Up for auction is an 11.5" long tin friction powered 1962 Ford Ranch Wagon made by Asahitoy (also know as ATC or Asahi) in early '60s Japan. This stunning and hard to find large size station wagon is exceptionally clean and in very good condition with a strong friction motor. The sea foam green paint has a beautiful high luster. There is a ding in the front of the hood which also has some minor waviness but otherwise the original finish shows only a few small chips and scrapes. Trim is... all bright with just some typical age oxidation to be seen in places. The plastic windshield is crystal clear with no scratches, breaks or shrinkage and still held firmly in place with all tabs intact. Interesting side windows are made in half down configuration. The interior is highly detailed with separate plastic steering wheel and colorful striped seats. The rear tailgate opens and closes easily as it should. I can't remember if these cars had rear glass but this one does not. All rubber tires are excellent with no cracks or flat spots. The friction motor still runs strong and smooth. Satin black chassis has hardly any wear. This desirable and rare large size tinplate car is offered here in true auction style with a low, low starting bid and no reserve. I accept international bids but please know I use the eBay Global Shipping Program to protect those bidders and myself. I am happy to combine shipping to save bidders money whenever I can. Depending on mailing zone I may be able to ship the car for less. If so, I will always refund the difference. All my items are packed with care. I've had 20 years of experience selling on eBay Please check my stellar feedback. Thanks for looking!
