This is a lovely yellow Chinese vase probably dating to c1970 but certainly 20th century.It is finely decorated in a pate sur pate style with birds in flowering branches. It looks beautiful on display.Although it is unmarked I am happy that it is Chinese (Google my heading and you will find near identical pieces). It stands 25cm tall.The condition is very good and the vase looks great but it has been drilled for use as a lamp base and, whilst this does not detract from its a...ppearance, you could not use it as a flower vase. There are a few black firing marks inside the rim and a couple of light brown marks in the body.
