Original Description:
A family treasure, the server is approx.16" high with base diameter of 10". A porcelain container fits within to hold the beverage.The design includes four simply decorated columns and vines. The base is marked 1842, Manufactured by Reed & Barton, Patented Aug. 4, 1868, May 13, 1878.  The front of the urn is engraved with the date:  June 23, 1884 and an indeterminate initial.  Weight is approx. 10 lbs.
