Here is a vintage working black cast iron balancing scale with a brass pan, cast iron weight holder and 9 brass counterweights in assorted sizes. It is made by Victor in England. I believe this scale was made in the 1970's.
The scale itself has no rust at all. Minimal wear. The brass pan shows some minor tarnish / discoloration, but overall in excellent condition considering its age. The cast iron weight holder and the brass counterweights are in equally great condition. I had this ...on my dining room hutch as a display item / conversation piece.
The brass counterweights are:1 - 500 gram2 - 200 gram1 - 100 gram1 - 50 gram2 - 20 gram1 - 10 gram1 - 5 gram(the counterweight set totals about 2 lbs 7oz)
