For sale: Original 1971 copy of Willie Colon's 'La Gran Fuga' LP with extremely rare out of print FBI sleeve and poster. Vinyl is VG- but plays relatively well outside of the superficial marks on the record. The poster is preserved extremely well inside of the record sleeve, and appears nearly untouched. The poster was featured in the very first pressings of the LP, but was quickly pulled from manufacturing and release by Fania because of a threatening letter from the FBI.
Along wit...h the poster - "Wanted by FBI" on the top of the LP sleeve was omitted and replaced with "Wanted" in later copies.This is an outstanding Latin/Salsa album by Willie Colon and Hector Lavoe on Fania Records.Thank you for looking.
