No breaks or cracks or dents in either the metal or porcelain. There are deer etched on either side of the pitcher. The lid is topped with a child holding a goblet. There is a ladies; head on the top of the handle. There is some cosmetic wear from age & storage. This would clean up beautifully when polished. We do not clean our items for fear of being devalued.
