PLEASE READ! Here's another beauty from Johnny Blazer's Buried Treasures! This is the Hot Wheels Redline Custom Dodge Charger released in 1969. This is the US version. When I got this car it was a basketcase. The cowl was broken in half and had fallen off (PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICS). I pieced it together and then polished the body and base, I did not plate it. Then I repainted it in a beautiful spectraflame dark brown. The paint is gorgeous, any imperfections are due to the lighting.... It was put back together with my version of repo rivets.
Here's the parts list:
Glass: original
Interior: original white
Axles: original straightened
Wheels: repo US bearingHood: original (solid hinges)
Then I repainted the grill and taillights. I polished the base up a little bit. The pictures don't quite show the 3 spots where the cowl was repaired, but you can kind of see it. I tried to get a few shots under different lighting to show. It doesn't look bad, but it's still visible. This color is impossible to find though and this car still shows it well! Buyer to prepay with paypal + $3.95 shipping and handling (US ONLY I will ship to Canada and Europe for extra) to be paid within 2 days of winning regardless of outstanding bids.
