1953 Britains #1470 Queens C...oronation State Coach Carriage Mint In Display Case Up for sale, I have a vintage 1953 Britains set #1470. This 54mm Britains set is the Queens Royal Coronation State Coach Carriage. The whole set measures about 20 1/2" long. This toy set has never been played with, it is still tied down to the original bottom cardboard of the original box. I got this from a 78 year old man, who actually won this when he was 12 years old from a Jewel grocery store in Chicago. He said in 1953 they were having a contest for kids to enter and he filled out the form and ended up winning it. He never played with it and it remained tied down in the original box. Through out the years he moved and the box got damaged and he ended up just cutting out the bottom of the box and tossing the rest of it. He later purchased this very expensive acrylic display case with wood base and he paid $125 for the case alone. The acrylic wood base display measures 24 1/2" x 6" x 8". I am including the case with the toy, and I will bubble wrap this the best I can to prevent it from coming loose from the cardboard base. Please look over the pictures and judge it for yourself.
