From the estate of a retired US Army Colonel who was a Major during the Vietnam War and after serving there left in 1969. This is a original brochure given to him by the MACV office. In fact his name "Maj. C" at the top stands for "Major Cottey" as he was a Army Major at the time of the Vietnam War. What is unique about this brochure is that it was issued by MACV, US Military Assistance Command Vietnam and that office only operated during the Vietnam War. It has... the MACV symbol on the front. The brochure is about a program called "Chieu Hoi" or "open arms" that allows north Viet Cong to defect to the south without penalty and "with open arms". 8 pages. Free shipping in the USA.
