His Daughter Kept All His Service Medals Dog Tags And His Squadron Patch From His Flight Jacket It Was All Cased In A Shadow Box, There Is A Partial Photo Of The Shadow Box In One Of The Photo Albums. She Did Not Want To Keep Any Of His Award Documents or Photos
I am going to try and describe the items you see in the pictures.There is his five year diary where he mainly just says in one line what he did that day, the spine is loose and it also has some tearing on the spine.There is his pilot rating book for when he begun his training.There are all of his certificates for his completion of training.There are three pilot flight log books his one for WWII his one for Vietnam and his civilian one.There is his silver wings class 44-E Williams Field Year Book it has some scuffing and a few ink stains not distracting and the spine is loose.There is his 1942 class year book from Albany California and his graduation certificate.there are two photo albums one has a few pics of his tour in vietnam no combat shots, the other one is during WWII and has family pics girlfriends, buddies in basic Showing off their toned bodies and picture of his plane and the pacific islands, His daughter taped all the original scrap book pages into a new hard cover album and a few of the photos she put scotch tape on the edges of the photos i think it will come off pretty easy i tried one and it didnt hurt the photo.There is a 1 inch thick folder that reads permanent records.There is a 2 inch thick folder that reads orders. which starts from 1943 to 1967.There are his official documents for his Joint Service Commendation Medal his Air Force Commendation Medal his Distinguished Flying Cross.and so many more certificates and other military Documents.
