Original Description:
This auction features an antique bronze Chinese bowl, with motifs of a prawn, a crab, reeds, and a poem with the characters 橫竹秋田裏. Loosely translated, I think it is a poem about fall's field having horizontal bamboo. There is also a hand-engraved floral or sunburst design in the center of the bottom, which was hard to photograph. It measures 5" in diameter and stands 1-3/4 tall, and is in excellent condition, no dents, just the old patina.
