American Flyer 477-478 Silver Flash (Satin) Alco Diesels; they are in the range of VG+ to EX (EX-) condition, overall. The engine ran fast when bench tested. The nose decal is original, and is in EX condition. The lettering/stamping is 99+% complete; the side decals are 98+% complete. The horn in the 478 B unit works, and puts out sound, when bench tested. The bases have some slight surface rust. It looks like there's some factory/service station, brown touchups in the top & front of ...the nose area. There is some light/slight rubbing of the paint in a couple small areas, as well as very slight/light scratches. The decorative horn looks to be original. questions 5099607135.
