Scarce Ernest Nister jigsaw set in original box featuringdogs with horse etc c1900-1910Full set of three colourful lithographic jigsaw puzzlesmounted on wood. One is a dog teasing an angry cow and calf, another is ascared puppy surrounded by a flock of fierce geese, and the other is a friendlycollie-dog with a cart-horse. The scenes each assemble to 162 x 130 mm [approx.6 ½” x 4 ¼”] Jigsaws are in very nice bright condition, in worn original boxwhich has been strengthened with cl...ear tape at some time. There are coloured guide-picture plates of two of thesubjects, the third picture is on the lid.
