The item up for sale is a vintage clear glass bottle with a paper label, metal screw top, & complete liquid contents in its original box, made circa 1926.
The box & paper label on the bottle read in part : "Dill's Liniment. Alcohol 65%. The Reliable Family Liniment. Small Size. Prepared by the Dill Company, Norristown, PA."
Th box top reads in part : "This new carton adopted April 15, 1926."
The rear panel of the bottle is embossed : "Dill... Company, Norristown, PA."
The box measures 6 3/8 inches high X 2 inches wide X 1 inch deep.
The box is in fair condition due to a 2" torn loss across the top edge of the front panel; the top flap has been torn off & reattached / repaired using archival acid-free document repair tissue; bends on the top flap; small losses & tears along the top edges; wear to the edges; age toning; small stains & spots; and soiling.
The bottle measures 6 inches tall X 2 inches wide X 3/4 inch deep.
The bottle is in very good condition aside from bubble inclusions on the sides.
