Original Description:
This antique "1895" Bretby "Clanta" ware pottery pitcher is a great example from the art nouveau period. It was produced from the Bretby pottery company by Henry Tooth. The Bretby Pottery Studio was founded in "1882" by Henry Tooth & William Ault. This piece has a matte finish in black and a hammered copper finish with applied Ruskin Cabochons. It is in excellent shape with no chips or cracks.
