Original Description:
This is a card of Torchon Bobbin Lace from the 1920s..new old stock from a closed country store...Bobbin lace used for edging and trim-continuous pattern and made of cotton-noted for strength etc..made in Europe and still on the original card-it reads " H.Torchon-a new perfect reproduction of hand made lace"...the card says its 36 yards-i havent removed it to verify but it feels like it has had some removed-estimating about  18-20 yards left...in good structural shape with no dama...ges or excessive wear-it does have age "fleshing" from being in storage for almost 100 years so its not perfectly white...this lace is 1 5/8" wide...looks and displays well and is guaranteed original and authentic ....check listing for other lots of vintage Torchon Lace...Shipping is via USPS in US and overseas…...always glad to combine on multiple buys when possible
