Original Description:
Don't fall for "High Grade, " "Superb Grade, " "Awesome Grade" uncertified notes being offered online.  Most of the time, there is a reason why they are not in a third-party grading company holder.  Think about it.  It's a multi-million dollar epidemic.  Avoid being taken advantage of!  Message me for details. Here is a very attractive, colorful and crisp 1934-A $20 Federal Reserve Note from the Chicago district (G-A Block) with sharp edges, square corners, clea...n paper and excellent eye-appeal.  The dark green color on the seal and serials is nice and bold.  The Friedberg number is Fr. 2055-G and the treasury signatures are Julian-Morgenthau, Jr.

This note has been certified and graded by PMG as Gem Uncirculated (CU) 66EPQ, which makes it an ideal grade for collectors looking to put together sets of some of the best material possible.

Early Federal Reserve Notes rock! I love trying to put together district sets (A-1 through L-12) of each series in nice grades, which is a very challenging endeavor.  It makes collecting really fun.  If you need any particular districts for your sets, message me and I may have duplicates (I have hundreds of certified FRN's - they are my passion and I believe they are a great long-term value play for investing).

The best part of this note's grade is the "EPQ" that was awarded by PMG.  For those of you out there just starting out in the hobby, its a great idea to look for original, exceptional paper quality when shopping for notes.  Greedy dealers of today and yester-year have dreamt up a number of ways to "improve" a note's appearance to unsuspecting and untrained eyes in an attempt to maximize profits (pressing, chemically treating, etc.).  The sad thing about this is that such deceitful and unnatural tactics ruin a note's originality forever.  I am proud to say that this note has not fallen victim (yet) to these tactics, as evidenced by the "EPQ" on the holder.I have a full-blown, no-questions-asked return policy, so feel free to buy the note with the expectation that it can be returned if you are not satisfied.  I will even pay for your return shipping.  But I have a feeling that you won't want to return it once you have it in your hand.I will be listing over 200 notes over the next couple of months (I am downsizing my collection some) so be sure to check back with me, or better yet, add me to your favorite sellers list.  I just received back several hundred notes from the two main third-party graders and there is a lot of exciting, rare, high-grade stuff in these stacks.  Almost my entire collection is decent, quality material.  I have worked hard on developing my "eye" for original, problem-free notes over the years and have been cherry picking shops and shows for over a decade. Thanks!  Please email me with any questions.  I will be highly responsive to all inquiries. This eBay store is maintained by, as its name implies, an avid paper money collector who considers the hobby sacred and has been put off by many currency dealers due to unethical selling practices, note doctoring, over-grading & unnecessarily-high price mark-ups.  I am working with you, not against you, and you can actually trust me (for a change).  Don't get taken!  Don't get bitten by the sharks!  It is a feeding frenzy nowadays online.Selling notes is something I only do when I either cannot afford to keep something that I have or when I have duplicates of certain notes that I would rather sell or trade for notes that I need.  While I am very knowledgeable and have life-long experience in numismatics, I am not a professional currency dealer and only do this as a spare-time hobby, therefore I am not incentivized to be dishonest or unethical during the selling process because the financial pressure for profit just does not exist with me.C2C Currency provides a "Buyer Bill of Rights" that commits to a very specific way that paper money will be listed and sold through its eBay store:1. GRADING & GRADING TERM INTEGRITY - I will never use the terms "high grade, " "superior grade, " "awesome grade, " "nice grade, " "near uncirculated, " etc. as the sole description of the condition of the notes I have for sale.  These terms do not fall into line with any commonly-recognized and accepted grading technique or scale that has been in use by numismatists and currency collectors for many decades.  The practice of solely using these terms without assigning a numerical grade (1 through 70) or a numerical grade category (Poor through Superb Gem) was recently invented by some dealers as a means of passing off lower and middle grade notes (Very Fine, Extra Fine) or doctored/repaired/chemically-treated notes as Almost Uncirculated or Uncirculated grades to unsuspecting,  uninformed buyers.2. NOTE DOCTORING - I have never doctored and will never doctor notes.  I realize that some collectors are not as picky as I am when it comes to a note's originality, but I consider that trait one of the most important when it comes to building a quality, prize-worthy collection that will demonstrate excellence for decades to come.  "Note doctoring, " a very common problem these days,  includes washing, cleaning, pressing, ironing, chemically-treating, spraying & microwaving, repairing, altering, erasing, re-touching, patching, gluing or whatever other method has been dreamt up over the years to artificially improve a note's appearance.  Furthermore, if I suspect a raw note that I am selling has been tampered with, I will be totally forthcoming with that belief.  However, see #3 below -- I don't anticipate selling many raw doctored notes at all.3. CERTIFIED NOTES - The great majority of the notes sold here will be certified by one of the two most reputable third-party currency grading services, either PMG or PCGS, and most of them will have been freshly slabbed by those services (as I recently sent in several hundred raw notes from my collection for grading).  I personally do not trust CGA grading, particularly the notes that exist in the older CGA holders, so if I do list a CGA-graded note, I will provide a plentiful number of scans and photographs (all un-doctored) of the note from all angles, as well as provide detailed, accurate written descriptions to the best of my ability.  The same applies with any listed raw notes.4. POPULATION REPORTS - If I cite figures from population reports, which I will do when a note is particularly rare,  those figures will be from both PMG and PCGS (not one or the other, conveniently, to make a note seem more rare than what it really is) and will be entirely current as of the date of the listing (not as of when I purchased the note four years ago).  I have seen much deception from certain dealers in this area, knowing that many bidders will not verify the claims they are making.  All of the data I provide can be trusted.5. COMMUNICATION - I will answer any inquiry within 12 hours and in many cases, strive to answer inquiries in real time.  My responses will be thoughtful and comprehensive -- not one-liners or one-worders like I often get after messaging a seller, if I even get a response.  Please feel free to drop me a message!  I believe that effective two-way communication before and during a transaction is the best way to ensure that all involved parties are kept happy and mutually-beneficial business can continue in the future.6. SHIPPING TIME & RETURNS - I will ship out within 24 hours of payment, except if payment is received on a Saturday, in which case shipment will occur Monday morning.  I will also provide tracking information so the winning bidder can be kept in the loop at all times.  Since I actively buy on eBay as well, I know how frustrating slow or non-communicative sellers can be and I strive to be the opposite.  Returns are accepted for any reason with a full refund given (within 14 days of receipt) and I will even pay for reverse shipping.  I provide a 100% satisfaction-guaranteed return policy so bids can be placed with confidence.
